eLearning Videos
Because of COVID-19, eLearning is at the top of our list of requested training videos. Here are some FREE examples of how to prepare for eLearning.
Google Sites for Basic Communication
Use Google Sites to communicate with your students! This is a quick and easy way to send information to your students in a way that's FREE and easy to organize. It can be updated daily, or you can make a new page in Google Sites for each eLearning day. If it's been a while since you've created a Google Site, watch this training video.
Chatting with students during eLearning days
Google Docs get "messy" after a while because there's no way to organize the chat messages as they come in. If you want a quick, easy, and FREE way to communicate with your students over the course of an eLearning day, then BackChannelChat.com might be for you. See how, in just a few minutes, you can have a custom, private chat room ready to go for use with your students.

Google Classroom: MAKE A COPY
Don't forget to use the very useful feature, "Make a copy for each student" in Google Classroom so that students don't have to worry about turning something in via e-mail, sharing settings, etc.
In this video, I demonstrate how to make a quick and easy electronic worksheet and set it so every student in the classroom has a copy of it!
Record lessons with SCREENCASTIFY
If you need to record a process for students (or teachers) to follow along with on the screen, I recommend SCREENCASTIFY from the Chrome Web Store. iPad users have built-in screen recording features, but on laptops, desktops, and Chromebooks, Screencastify is an EASY way to put a video together for student eLearning lessons.
